Hi everyone, just thought i'd introduce myself, i'm john, I dont actually have an Alfa at the moment but i'm looking for a 3.0 V6 75 to do the scumball rally in at the moment, if it survives i'll keep it as a track toy!!
My best mates dad is probably one of the best mechanics I've ever met, he is Italian and was trained as a mechanic by Ferrari of modena, then specialised in Alfa Romeos & Ferraris for over 50 years in Italy, South Africa and England. About 6 years ago he moved back to Italy, but has now decided to return once again to England, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in his garage learning all about cars and how to fix them, my best mate was fully trained by his father and knows Alfas inside out even though he is currently wasting his valuable knowledge by being a chef!!
I used to own an AlfaSud 1.5 Ti Cloverleaf as my first car!! it had big valve heads, webber 36(I think) carbs and Autodelta cams, my dad had a beautifull red GTV6 too, best sounding car on the planet!!
I'm looking forward to Alfa ownership once again, if anyone hears of a decent 75 3.0 for under 1k let me know! - you know what they say!! once bitten.... |

Hi V6crazy!
Great Stuff- just what we need.
This 'new' forum is a bit slow getting going. I think 'cos it takes a while to load into the lower frame people think it's not coming. Hopefullythe message at the top will help!
Keep us posted on the 75!!
