2001 Alfa Romeo 166 Super Lusso 3.0 V6 (CF3) manual, in Grigio Chiaro (silver)

I purchased this car as a project at the start of 2023, following it having been off the road for four years, and brought it back to good health having covered over 4,000 trouble free miles since.

Good points
- Only 74k miles
- Cambelt, aux belt, tensioner and water pump replaced in 2023
- MOT to 15th Feb 2025, advisory free
- running beautifully, with no warning lights illuminated
- Brake discs and pads (all round), rear calipers, handbrake cable replaced Feb 2023
- Front springs, steering arms, drop links replaced 2023
- New tyres x4 - Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 6 - fitted 2023 and 4-wheel alignment performed
- Oil & filter changed Feb 2024 (Millers Motorsport CFS 10w60)
- Exhaust front downpipe replaced Feb 2024
- Full service performed Feb 2023 - spark plugs, all filters, oil, coolant, brake fluid
- Rocker cover gasket replaced 2023
- Inlet manifold rubber hoses replaced 2023
- Rear lower hub rose joint bushes replaced 2023
- spare parts supplied with the car - radiator mount (new), steering rack (refurb), rear window regulator (used), rear exhaust section (used)
- 2 remote keys
- equipped with optional DSP audio system with 10 speakers (subs in rear parcel shelf), wood steering wheel and steering wheel audio controls
- all electrics work (aside from items listed under bad points below), including heated electric seats and cruise control.
- leather in good condition, albeit with a number of marks (but no tears)
- headliner in good condition
- roof and front bumper have been repainted in my ownership (due to bad lacquer wear / peeling paint respectively)

Bad points
- minor dent on front edge of OS/F wing and slight crease in boot lid centre
- poor areas of paintwork around the car, a number of patches which have been poorly touched in, early signs of rust inside rear wheelarch edges, some laquer wear on boot lid and bonnet, multiple paint chips and minor scratches
- OS/R electric window not functioning (hence spare window reg)
- NS/R window button broken on driver's door panel
- A/C needs investigating for leaks (had it regassed 2023 and compressor works but didn't stay cold for long)
- Remote locking a little temperamental (seems to be sticking driver door lock, central locking always works with key from driver's door)
- a number of the rubber seals around the car are tired, particularly the boot lid seal which needs replacing (see pic)

Note in the photos I'd forgotten to put the headlamp washer nozzle covers back on after refitting the repainted bumper, but I do have them. If you look closely I'd also done a rather poor job refixing the front number plate!
